PRESS REVIEW FROM SLOVENIA, JUNE 5, 1992

Ljubljana, 5 June - VEČER: VULTURES' VICTORY - Further delaying of the economic co-operation agreement between Slovenia and Croatia is at least ridiculous and unserious. It seems the vultures of Croatian politics do not care about solving problems, but rather seek worsening of the situation, writes Borko De Corti, and adds: How else can one interpret the instructions of certain ministers to their subordinates that they must not even buy a screw in Slovenia, or else they lose their jobs. They can buy things anywhere in the world but in Slovenia, although they need spare parts for Slovenian products. Such instructions and behaviour worn us that our neighbours have chosen a violent way of solving problems concerning economic co-operation with Slovenia which cannot contribute to a firmer partnership.
