Proposal for new finance minister gains support

Ljubljana, 5 June - The appropriate Commission of the Slovenian Parliament supported the proposal by the Premier Dr. Janez Drnovšek to relieve the present Minister of Finance, Janez Kopač, of his duties and to nominate the new minister, Mitja Gaspari who worked in the World Bank in Washington until now.
