Discussion on Bank Reform Delayed

Ljubljana, 8 June - The Assembly committee for the credit-monetary system decided to discuss the reform of Slovenian banks when the opinion of the Slovenian government about this problem is obtained. Marko Kranjec, of the Bank of Slovenia, stated that the government had been presented with the necessary documentation on the bank reform on time. The representative of the Ministry of Finance, Stanko Debeljak said that the government should come to a decision on the issue during a formal session, and that the government working bodies should define their position on this as well.
