Facts on Refugees in Slovenia

Ljubljana, 10 June - In Slovenia there are more than 61,000 refugees from Bosna and Herzegovina and Croatia. 38,498 persons have asked for temporary refugee status at Red Cross offices, which is 250 people more than yesterday. Among them are 1,775 children under the age of one, 1,322 between the ages of one and two, 6,211 between the ages of 2 and 7, and 9,522 between the ages of 7 and 16. Persons above the age of 60 number 2,056. 15,552 temporary refugees have been placed in 66 centers of civil protection through Slovenia, stated the republic Administration of Protection and Rescue.
