Dr. Drnovšek in favour of an extremely open economy

Ljubljana, 11 June - If we succeed in executing this ambitious programme, Slovenia will gain firm foundations for its future development, convertible currency and a basis to a more intensified incorporation into the European economy, possibly to an even sooner accomplishment of our full-fledged membership in the European Community than we have expected, stressed Prime Minister Dr. Janez Drnovšek in the regular press conference after the meeting of the Government in which a new draft economic policy was agreed upon.
