Successful presentation of Slovenia

Manila, 11 June - Slovenia has made use of the participation of more than a hundred nations and the presence of numerous famous personalities at the Thirtieth Chess Olympiad for its promotion. Minister of Information Jelko Kacin met, during his three day visit to the capital of the Philippines, first with the president of the International Chess Federation FIDA, Florencio Campomanes, and invited him to visit Slovenia shortly. Campomanes accepted the invitation, and he will already come to Slovenia, a new member of FIDA, in September.
