Borut Pahor at conference of Migrations and Refugees Committee

Paris/Ljubljana, 11 June - In Paris, where the Migrations and Refugees Committee of the parliamentary assembly of the European Council is currently in conference, the leader of the Slovenian Delegation to the assembly, Mr. Borut Pahor, presented, in his opening speech, the report on the BH refugee issue. The Committee for Migrations and Refugees additionally included in its agenda a discussion on the BH crisis. Borut Pahor presented to the Committee the Slovenian suggestions for more effective humanitarian assistance and invited the president and the members of the Committee to monitor refugee camps in Slovenia. The Committee at the parliamentary assembly of the European Council will use the report by the Slovenian delegation as the basis for its own report, which will be prepared for the discussion on the crisis in BH and the problem of its refugees in the parliamentary assembly of the European Council on June 30, 1992.
