Weekly Review of Slovene Economy From 12 to 17 December

Ljubljana, 17 December - National Office of Employment issued a report on unemployment in November in the past week. National Office of Statistics issued a report on the increase in retail prices compared to October. In November, there were 123,582 of unemployed in Slovenia which is by 1.9 percent less than in October. Retail prices in November increased in average by 1.5 percent over October, by 17 percent over December 1993 and by 18.8 percent over November 1993. The average monthly growth was 1.4-percent. The factory prices of industrial products in November increased by 1.6 percent over October. The prices of working means were up by 0.9 percent, reproduction materials by 1.3 percent, and consumer goods by two percent.
