Proteus Will Travel to Exhibition in Barcelona

Ljubljana, 17 June - With the great success that the Slovenian pavilion enjoyed with the "human fish" at the exhibition SIME '92 in Paris in January, the Museu de la Ciencia (Museum of Science) in Barcelona asked for a loan of the Slovenian zoological phenomenon proteus which it will show the world in its large exhibition of animals in the first two weeks in June. The Slovenian Natural Science Museum responded to the request and will send proteus to Barcelona for only 14 days as the fish would not survive a longer period of time, although Catalonia would like to retain proteus until the end of the exhibit, i.e. to December this year.
