Haider Proposes Fresh Talks on Bilingual Signposts
Klagenfurt, 6 January - Joerg Haider, the governor general of the Austrian province of Carinthia, has announced a new attempt at finding a solution to the dispute on bilingual town limits, while a representative of the Slovenian ethnic minority in the province proposed erecting bilingual signposts in 173 towns and villages for a start.
