MONDAY, 8 January
LJUBLJANA - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel will hold separate meetings with German Ambassador Hans-Joachim Goetz, Ljubljana Mayor Zoran Jankovic, and Rudi Pavsic, the president of the Slovenian Cultural and Economic Association, an organisation of the Slovenian minority in Italy and Drago Stoka, the head of the Council of Slovenian Organisations.
RIBNICA - Transport Minister Janez Bozic and Environment and Spatial Planning Minister Janez Podobnik are to meet mayors of several municipalities to discuss road and motorway construction programmes.
LJUBLJANA - Public broadcaster TV Slovenija will unveil new image of its news shows and new hosts.
TUESDAY, 9 January
NOVA GORICA - Italian Foreign Minister Massimo D'Alema is to arrive for a two-day official visit to Slovenia, on invitation by his Slovenian opposite number Dimitrij Rupel. The pair is expected to meet representatives of the Slovenian minority in Italy and Italian minority in Slovenia.
LJUBLJANA - The government commission on concealed mass graves will outline its activities so far and plans for 2007 at a news conference.
WEDNESDAY, 10 January
LJUBLJANA - Italian Foreign Minister Massimo D'Alema is to hold talks with his Slovenian counterpart Dimitrij Rupel and Prime Minister Janez Jansa.
ROME, Italy - Public Administration Minister Gregor Virant is to pay a one-day working visit to Italy.
LJUBLJANA - A joint meeting by the parliamentary EU affairs and foreign policy committees is to discuss Germany's EU presidency programme.
LJUBLJANA - The Ljubljana funicular will be officially opened.
