World Cup Slalom: Schild Takes Golden Fox

Kranjska Gora, 7 January - Marlies Schild of Austria won the women's World Cup slalom event at the 43rd Golden Fox on Sunday, the second Austrian victory in as many days on the slopes of Kranjska gora. Sarka Zahrobska of the Czech Republic bagged silver, 0.66 of a second off the pace, and Slovakia's Veronika Zuzulova (+1.65) came in as third.
