Zagreb police discovers forged tolars

Zagreb, 18 June - Head of the Department for the Prevention of Economic Crime at the headquarters of Zagreb police, Martin Jankovac, held a press conference today and informed the public of the arrest of Ivo G. (28) from Vinkovci, who was suspected to have been hiding a considerable amount of forged Slovenian tolars. The suspect admitted that he had hidden a large amount of Slovenian tolars in the cellar of his girlfriend's house at Sveti Duh in Zagreb. During the investigation at the above mentioned location there were found 97,151 banknotes of 1000 tolars, that is approximately DM 2 million.
