In 1995, the most important activities of the Association of Slovene Banks (ZBS) were preparations for the implementation of the law against money laundering and for measures that would lower passive interest rates, Srečko Korber, the ZBS President, told a news conference on Wednesday. He also announced an education centre for permanent, mainly practical education of bankers, is to open on 1 January 1995 in Ljubljana.
