No political motives behind counterfeit tolar banknotes

Ljubljana, 19 June - The results published so far of an extensive study carried out recently on the appearance and circulation of counterfeit tolar banknotes do not support the hypothesis that foreign agencies may be involved in the affair. In all likelihood, this is not a planned, politically motivated attempt to penetrate the Slovenian monetary system, was the conclusion reached during a session held today by the Council of the Slovenian Presidency for the Protection of the Constitutional Order of the Republic of Slovenia.
