President Kučan states: The jurisdiction of the Arbitration Committee is beyond dispute

Ljubljana, 19 June - The newly formed Federal Republic of Yugoslavia must undergo the same procedure as all the other inheritor states of the former S.F.R.Y. prior to recognition, stated Slovenian President Milan Kučan in a letter to Robert Badinter, Chairman of the Arbitration Committee established within the frame of the Peace Conference on Yugoslavia.
