Slovenian Letter of Gratitude to Lisbon

Ljubljana, 22 June - At the end of this week heads of states or of governments of member states of the European Community will meet in Lisbon, and the Slovenian Foreign Ministry will send a letter of gratitude to this meeting in order to thank them for their support in the process of Slovenia's implementation of independence, said the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr.Dimitrij Rupel at today's press conference. "This will still not be an official request for full membership in the European Community," stressed Dr.Rupel.
