Ljubljana, 11 March - Slovenia enjoyed some of the fastest economic growth in quite some time in 2006, with preliminary data showing its GDP expanded by 5.2% in the year. Meanwhile, parliament appointed new agriculture and development ministers on Tuesday. Also making headlines this week was Monday's slump on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange. Despite being hit by 2.5%-plus drops, Slovenian blue chips managed to recover by the end of the week.
