GENEVE, Switzerland - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel is to attend the fourth regular meeting of the UN Human Rights Council. Rupel, who is also to address the conference, is to meet UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Louise Arbour and Marek Belka, UN Executive Secretary of Economic Commission for Europe. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - Public Administration Minister Gregor Virant is to meet ad 10:30 AM the representatives of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), who are visiting Slovenia as part of their annual mission. (STA)
BREMEN, Germany - A two-day ministerial conference on the fight against HIV/AIDS is to conclude. Health Minister Andrej Brucan is in attendance.
LJUBLJANA - The executive council of the ruling coalition People's Party (SLS) will discuss the party's stance on an international arbitration on the border with Croatia, among other subjects. SLS leader Janez Podobnik is to speak to the press at 6 PM as part of the session.
LJUBLJANA - Milan M. Cvikl, the head of the parliament's Budget and Public Finance Oversight Commission, is to outline the reasons for the commission's meeting on Thursday where it is to discuss a dodgy payment of a claim by Environment and Spatial Planning Minister Janez Podobnik.
MARIBOR - A press conference by the Voice of Women will see the only women's party in Slovenia present its candidate for the 2007 presidential election. At 11 AM.
