Rupel Pleased with Likely Election of Macedonian UN Nominee
Ljubljana, 14 March - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel expressed pleasure on Wednesday over Srdjan Kerim's good chances of being elected the president of the UN General Assembly for the June 2007 - June 2008 period. Rupel was especially pleased that Kerim would hold the post at the time Slovenia presided over the EU, the Foreign Ministry said.
