Consumer Protection in the EU to Be Upgraded
Ljubljana, 15 March - The European Commission's new strategy for consumer protection in the 2007-2013 period is to be upgraded to include the protection of consumers making purchases online. "In practice the legislation is lagging behind," Mihela Zupancic, the head of the European Commission Representation in Slovenia, told the press on Thursday.
