Ljubljana, 25 March - The week saw Sava, the chemical and tourism conglomerate, confirm rumours that it had bought nearly a quarter of Abanka Vipa, Slovenia's third-largest bank by assets. Also making the headlines this week was the government's adoption of a plan for the second stage of the privatisation of telco Telekom Slovenije. Also, the European Commission this week launched infringement proceedings against Slovenia for its failure to implement parts of the "second railway package" of railway regulation.
