Would-be Health Purse Director Gets Committee Nod
Ljubljana, 21 March - Samo Fakin, a former director of the Celje hospital, received on Wednesday backing for his appointment to the post of director general of the Health Insurance Institute (ZZZS) from the parliamentary Credentials and Privileges commission. Nevertheless, his final confirmation in parliament remains uncertain because the two largest coalition parties have not expressed outright support for him.
