Ljubljana, 27 March - Below is a schedule of events for Wednesday, 28 March:

HAGUE, Netherlands - Prime Minister Janez Jansa is to pay a working visit to the Netherlands for talks dominated by EU issues. He is scheduled to meet his counterpart Jan Peter Balkenende as well as representatives of the Dutch parliament. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - Parliament is to continue its session at 10 AM by debating the Roma bill at second reading and amendments to the Constitutional Court at first reading. (STA)

BLED - Authors to be participating in the 39th international PEN meeting are set to arrive in Slovenia at 6:30 PM. The PEN meeting is to run from Wednesday to Sunday. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - The supervisory board of NLB, Slovenia's largest bank, is to be in session.

LJUBLJANA - Simobil, Slovenia's second largest mobile services provider, is to present changes to its management board at a news conference scheduled for 9:30 AM. (STA)

ALMADEN, Spain - Environment Minister Janez Podobnik is to take part in a European conference on mercury upon invitation by his Spanish counterpart Cristina Narbona.

LJUBLJANA - The historical work "Die Habsburgmonarchie 1848-1918" (The Habsburg Monarchy 1848-1918) will be launched at 11 AM. The eight-volume publication was written in cooperation between the Slovenian Academy of Arts and Sciences, the Ljubljana-based Austrian Science Institute and the Vienna-based Slovenian Science Institute.

ROGASKA SLATINA - The award for the best Slovenian ski resort in 2006/2007 is to be given out at a ceremony that begins at 3 PM.

CELJE - The Slovenian football team is to take on the Netherlands in a Euro 2008 qualifier, group G. Kick-off at 8:45 PM. (STA/PHOTO)
