Ljubljana, 3 April - Below is a schedule of events for Wednesday, 4 April:

LJUBLJANA - The Strategic Council for Foreign Policy is to hold a session dedicated to relations with Croatia; at 3 PM. Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel is to issue a statement to the press after the session. (STA/PHOTO)

LJUBLJANA - The parliamentary Commission for Slovenians Abroad is to convene a session at 9 AM to debate economic cooperation with neighbouring countries, a joint representation of the Slovenian minority in neighbouring countries and a report on the commission's visit to the Slovenian community in Australia.

LJUBLJANA - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel and Hungarian Ambassador Jozsef Czukor are to sign an agreement under which the countries are to cooperate in the issuance of visas and residence permits; at 11 AM.

LISBON, Portugal - Transport Minister Janez Bozic is to present the priorities of Slovenia's presidency in transport as part of a meeting with his counterparts from Portugal and Germany.

LJUBLJANA - Health Ministry is to hold a news conference at 12:15 PM, entitled "Slovenia is the first in Europe According to the number of Children who were Conceived with the Help of Biomedicine".

MURSKA SOBOTA - Labour, the Family and Social Affairs Minister Marjeta Cotman is due to visit Mura, the country's leading clothes manufacturer. A brief meeting with the press is scheduled for 11 AM.

PORTOROZ - A two-day IBM forum is to begin at 9 AM, featuring Economy Minister Andrej Vizjak, among others. A press conference is scheduled for 12:30 PM.

LJUBLJANA - The Government Communication Office and Center Evropa are to organise a lecture on the consequences of disrespect for the EU law.

LJUBLJANA - The Slovenian Hunters Association is to mark its centenary with a panel at 6 PM.

MARIBOR - A press conference on Maribor's bid for the 2012 European Capital of Culture is to be held at the multimedia centre Kibla at 11 AM.
