Slovenia Fined by EU for Surplus Agricultural Stocks
Brussels, 4 April - The European Commission has issued fines to nine 2004 newcomers, including Slovenia, for building excess stocks of agricultural goods ahead of their accession to the EU. Slovenia will have to pay a fine of EUR 393,000.
