Genscher: I Am Still a Diplomat!

Ljubljana, 30 June - Even after resignation from the post of Foreign Minister, Hans-Dietrich Genscher has not forsaken activity in the area of foreign politics, as he told journalists himself at a press conference today. In his words, this is the reason for his visit to Ljubljana, during which the Premier of the Slovenian Presidency, Milan Kučan, presented him with the Golden Honor Award of Free Slovenia. Mr. Genscher also met with the Slovenian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Dimitrij Rupel, and with the Premiers of the Slovenian and Croatian governments, Dr. Janez Drnovšek and Dr. Franjo Gregurić, respectively.
