Ljubljana, 9 April - Below is a schedule of events for Tuesday, 10 April:

MARIBOR - Prime Minister Janez Jansa and several members of his cabinet are to visit a number of companies and institutions in and around Maribor on the eve of the cabinet's tour of the Podravje region.

LJUBLJANA - Parliament Speaker France Cukjati is to host at 10 AM talks between Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel and the deputy groups on a resolution on the border with Croatia. (STA/PHOTO)

BRDO PRI KRANJU - Macedonian Interior Minister Gordana Jankulovska is to meet Slovenian counterpart Dragutin Mate during her visit here. The pair are expected to give a statement to the press after their meeting, expectedly at 11 AM. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - The visiting delegation of the Commission for Foreign Affairs of the Chinese People's Congress, headed by Jiang Enzhu, is to pay a visit to the parliament, meeting Deputy Speaker of Parliament Vasja Klavora (at 11 AM) and members of the parliamentary Foreign Policy Committee (11:30 AM).

LJUBLJANA - The Council for Culture is to convene a session at 11 AM to the debate the bill on the public book agency and the draft national Language Policy Programme 2007-2011.

LJUBLJANA - The parliament's Intelligence and Security Services Oversight Commission is to convene a session at 3 PM to analyse answers to queries it recently sent to the National Security and Intelligence Agency (SOVA).

LJUBLJANA - The parliament's Committee on Culture, Education and Sport is to convene a session at 2 PM to look into the draft National Language Policy Programme 2007-2011.

LJUBLJANA - US Ambassador to Slovenia Thomas B. Robertson is to open at the Slovenian Museum of Natural Heritage at 1 PM an exhibition on American Indians by US photographer Edward S. Curtis.
