Ljubljana, 12 April - Below is a schedule of events for Friday, 13 April:

LJUBLJANA - The parliamentary Commission for Petitions, Human Rights and Equal Opportunities is to adopt a position on the report of the European Commission against Racism and Intolerance. The session starts at 9 AM. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - The college of deputy group leaders is to set the agenda for the April plenary session of parliament, which gets under way on 23 April. The meeting starts at noon.

BUENOS AIRES, Argentina - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel is to hold a meeting with organisations of the Slovenian immigrant community in Argentina as part of his visit to the South American country.

LJUBLJANA - Environment Minister Janez Podobnik, who chairs the government commission for the Roma, is to present activities aimed at finding a new home for the Strojans, the Roma family who have lived in a temporary shelter on the outskirts of Ljubljana since the end of December; at 1 PM.

LJUBLJANA - The Slovenian Prison Administration is to sign an agreement on cooperation with the Croatian Administration for the Prison System at 10 AM.

WASHINGTON, US - Banka Slovenije Vice-Governor Darko Bohnec and member of the central bank's Governing Board Bozo Jasovic are to attend the annual spring session of the International Monetary Fund.

LJUBLJANA - The parliament's Transport Committee is to look into proposed amendments to the act on mandatory rest periods of professional drivers and the draft motorway construction plan for 2007; at 9 AM.

LJUBLJANA - The Scientific Research Centre at the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts is to give out the Generations of Science awards for extraordinary achievements in science at 8 PM.

MARIBOR - The Artistic Gymnastics World Cup event, which runs until 15 April, will kick off with the qualifying round at 2 PM.

FEHRING, Austria - Austrian Foreign Minister Ursula Plassnik is to open an exhibition entitled "Fate of the Border: Austria, Slovenia, Hungary 1914-2004", a joint project of the towns Fehring, Beltinci and Koermend from the three countries.
