Slovenian Party for Democratic Renewal Plans to Support Milan Kučan as Next Presidential Candidate

Ljubljana, 2 July - We at the Party for Democratic Renewal (SDP) have carried out preparations on the cadre and organizational levels and will work in a very democratic manner to have the best candidates for presidential and parliamentary elections, said Dr. Ciril Ribičič, President of the SDP, at today's press conference. To date, discussions among the members of the SDP have demonstrated the solidity of the proposal that Milan Kučan again run for Premier. Dr. Ribičič also told journalists that the SDP would like to support Mr. Kučan together with other political parties and individuals not aligned with any party.
