Croatia EU Report: Arbitration Out, Third Party Intervention In
Brussels, 18 April - A report from the European Parliament on Croatian efforts to join the EU will not include a recommendation for the country to resolve its border issue with Slovenia through arbitration, but will instead contain a call for "third party intervention". Moreover, Slovenia will no longer be explicitly mentioned, as the call will apply to all of the open issues Croatia has with its neighbours, the report's author, MEP Hannes Swoboda, told STA on Wednesday.
