WWII Liberation Movement Veterans Mark Resistance Day
Ljubljana, 23 April - The Slovenian Association of World War II Veterans commemorated in Ljubljana on Monday Liberation Day, which is marked in Slovenia on 27 April, the day the Liberation Front against the Nazi occupation was launched in 1941. The president of the association, Janez Stanovnik, highlighted in his address tolerance as the leading principle of the Liberation Front.
