Sermek leads in the Ljubljana chess tournament

Ljubljana, 6 July - At the LŠK Iskra international chess tournament, 24 year-old Dražen Sermek, a member of LŠK Iskra, playing for Croatia, is leading after six rounds. He has gained five points and is thus ahead of the Slovenian representatives Grosar and Gostiša. At this tournament, with three grandmasters and six international masters participating, the standard level in order to merit the title grandmaster is 8 points.
