Six New WWI Open Air Museums to Open in Posocje
Bovec, 3 May - Posocje, a mountainous border region in northwest Slovenia where some of the fiercest alpine battles took place in WWI, extended its tourist offer on Wednesday with a renovated Austro-Hungarian artillery fort. The fort will be one of six open air museums in the region, Zdravko Likar of the Poti miru foundation, which helped to renovate the building, has told STA.
