Canadian Slovenian Donates Painting to National Gallery
Ljubljana, 7 May - A Slovenian living in Montreal, Canada has donated a painting by Slovenian impressionist Rihard Jakopic, "Breze v soncu" (Birch Trees in the Sun), to the Slovenian National Gallery. The oil painting, dated 1905, is one of Jakopic's early works.
