Parliament Still in Deadlock over Posts in Working Bodies
Ljubljana, 7 May - As the dispute over the distribution of posts on parliamentary working bodies continues, parliament on Monday failed to endorse the opposition's candidate for deputy parliament speaker, Marko Pavliha of the Social Democrats (SD). Pavliha got only 32 votes of the 46 he needed to secure the appointment, as 24 MPs voted against in the secret ballot.
