Slovenia Will Sign the Concluding Helsinki Document at the Meeting of the CSCE/Drnovšek and Rupel in Helsinki

Ljubljana, 7 July - Slovenia is active in all areas of the activities of the Conference on Security and Cooperation in Europe (CSCE), and will be particularly so at the meeting of the CSCE members' national or governmental leaders, which will begin the day after tomorrow in Helsinki, stated Dr. Dimitrij Rupel, the Slovenian Foreign Minister, at today's meeting of the Parliamentary Commission for International Relations.
At the Helsinki summit meeting of the CSCE, Slovenia will sign the 1975 Concluding Helsinki Document. Dr. Rupel will participate in the signing, which will take place in the Finnish capital on Wednesday, after which he will participate in several bilateral meetings. Dr. Janez Drnovšek, President of the Slovenian Government, will speak at the conference and acquaint the participants with the foreign policy positions of Slovenia, in particular its relation to the CSCE and security in Europe, elaborated the Foreign Minister.
