Challenges Facing EU Identified as Parliament Marks Europe Day

Ljubljana, 9 May - The parliamentary EU Affairs Committee marked Europe Day on Wednesday with a festive session at which speakers highlighted achievements as well as challenges facing the EU 57 years after Robert Schuman, the then French foreign minister, paved the way for the European Coal and Steel Community, the precursor to today's EU.
