Brussels Supports Slovenia's Plans against Cancer, Smoking
Ljubljana, 10 May - European Health Commissioner Markos Kyprianou is due in Ljubljana later on Thursday for talks dominated by preparations for Slovenia's presidency over the EU in the first half of 2008. Its priority then is to be the fight against cancer as a leading cause of death in the EU, an idea that the commissioner's office has said Kyprianou supports.
