MONDAY, 14 May
        WARSAW, Poland - Prime Minister Janez Jansa accompanied by an economic delegation is to make an official visit to Poland.
        BRUSSELS - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel and Defence Minister Karl Erjavec are to attend a meeting of their EU colleagues in Brussels.
        BERLIN, Germany - Representatives of the parliamentary EU Affairs Committee are to attend a two-day meeting of EU affairs committees from other members of the bloc.
        GENEVA, Switzerland - Health Minister Andrej Brucan is to attend the General Assembly of the World Health Organisation.
        TRIESTE - Second session of the newly appointed parity board for issues concerning the Slovenian minority in Italy.
        LJUBLJANA - Labour, the Family and Social Affairs Minister Marjeta Cotman and Human Rights Ombudsman Zdenka Cebasek Travnik are to come together for a working meeting.
        LJUBLJANA - Press conference of Higher Education, Science and Technology Ministry ahead of 17 May, World Information Society Day.
        GORIZIA, Italy - Beginning of a two-day meeting of the joint Slovenian-Italian water management commission.

TUESDAY, 15 May
        LJUBLJANA - Portuguese Foreign Minister Luis Filip Marques is to make a working visit to Slovenia.
        PRISTINA, Serbia - President Janez Drnovsek is to visit Slovenian soldiers stationed in Kosovo.
        BERLIN, Germany - A government delegation headed by Economy Minister Andrej Vizjak is to attend a European Tourism conference and an EU ministerial on tourism.
        BAD PYMONT, Germany - Labour, the Family and Social Affairs Minister Marjeta Cotman is to attend an informal meeting of her EU colleagues on gender equality.
        LJUBLJANA - A European Commission-sponsored panel entitled "The Young on the Labour Market: Flexible Job Security" is to take place.
        LJUBLJANA - The National Council, the upper chamber of Slovenia's parliament, is to host a panel on lifelong learning and active aging.
        LJUBLJANA - Slovenian Armed Forces Day, with Prime Minister Janez Jansa delivering the keynote address at the solemn academy to be held in Cankarjev dom.
        LJUBLJANA - Slovenia's Surveying and Mapping Authority is to speak to the press about the European coordinate system project in Slovenia.
        LJUBLJANA/IZOLA - Press conferences ahead of the "Kino Otok - Isola Cinema" film festival are to be held in Ljubljana and Izola.

WEDNESDAY, 16 May
        KABUL, Afghanistan - The Slovenian Deputy Chief-of-Staff, Major General Alojz Steiner, is to visit the members of the Slovenian Armed Forces participating in the ISAF crisis response operation in Afghanistan. He is to return 18 May.
        PODCETRTEK - Interior Minister Dragutin Mate is to participate in a panel on Slovenia's accession to the Schengen no-border zone.
        LJUBLJANA - A Chamber of Commerce and Industry-sponsored conference on climate change and business is also to be attended by Environment and Spatial Planning Minister Janez Podobnik.
        LJUBLJANA - "Opa, Evropa", an EU-promoting book published by several government offices, is to be presented to the press.
        LJUBLJANA - Press conference ahead of 18 May, International Museum Day.

THURSDAY, 17 May
        BLED - Slovenia is to host the Annual Bank Conference on Development Economics (ABCDE), organised by the World Bank, with participation of the OECD. Opening the two-day event will be PM Janez Jansa and the president of the World Bank Paul Wolfowitz.
        LJUBLJANA - The ninth ministerial meeting of the Human Security Network is to get underway in Ljubljana; until 18 May.
        LJUBLJANA - Costa Rica's Foreign Minister Bruno Stagno Ugarte is to pay an official visit to Slovenia.
        LJUBLJANA - Austrian Chancellor Alfred Gusenbauer is to begin a two-day working visit to Slovenia upon the invitation of PM Janez Jansa.
        LJUBLJANA - Portuguese Justice Minister Alberto Costa is to start his four-day official visit to Slovenia.
        LJUBLJANA - A regular weekly session of the government.
        LJUBLJANA - A news conference is to be held ahead of the 22nd international Vilenica International Writers' Meeting.
        LJUBLJANA - Valvasor award and recognitions are scheduled to be handed out for achievements in the field of museums.

FRIDAY, 18 May
        LJUBLJANA - The parliamentary EU Affairs Committee is to meet behind closed doors to discuss among others Slovenia's efforts to be selected as the seat of the supervisory authority of the Galileo satellite navigation system.
        VELENJE - Representatives of the Public Administration Ministry are to present e-services set up by the ministry as part of the e-government project.

SATURDAY, 19 May
        LJUBLJANA - The Environment and Spatial Planning Ministry is to hold a press conference ahead of 22 May, International Day for Biological Diversity, and 24 May, European Day of Parks.
        PEKRE - A ceremony is to mark 16 years since an incident between the Yugoslav People's Army and the Slovenian defence forces took place. The Pekre incident lead to the Slovenian independence war in 1991. Key-note address by Defence Minister Karl Erjavec.
        VACE - A ceremony marking the day of the veterans of the Slovenian independence war.

SUNDAY, 20 May
        MAINZ, Germany - Agriculture Minister Iztok Jarc is to begin his attendance at a three-day informal meeting of EU agriculture ministers.
        ELTVILL, Germany - Interior Minister Dragutin Mate is to attend a meeting of the future of Europe working group.
