LJUBLJANA - Austrian Chancellor Alfred Gusenbauer is due to meet Prime Minister Janez Jansa at 10 AM, while the pair is expected to address the press at 2:20 PM. (STA/PHOTO)

BLED - The Annual Bank Conference on Development Economics is to come to an end with a closing session starting at 3:45 PM. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - The 9th ministerial of the Human Security Network (HSN) is to open at 9 AM with an address by Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel. A press conference is scheduled for 3 PM. (STA/PHOTO)

VELENJE - The top body of the senior coalition Slovenian Democrats (SDS) is to meet at 4:45 PM to decide whether to back Alojz Peterle in his bid in the autumn presidential election. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - The heads of deputy factions in parliament are to meet Speaker France Cukjati at 1 PM to determine the agenda of the plenary session beginning on 28 May.

LJUBLJANA - The opposition Social Democrats (SD) are to hold a press conference at 11 AM to present their candidate for deputy speaker of parliament from the opposition ranks. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - The parliamentary EU Affairs Committee is to meet behind closed doors at 2 PM to discuss Slovenia's bid to host the seat of the supervisory authority of the Galileo satellite navigation system.

LJUBLJANA - Prime Minister Janez Jansa is to address at 9:30 AM the meeting of mayors from the east coast of the Adriatic, which comes to a close.

LJUBLJANA - Portuguese Justice Minister Alberto Costa and his counterpart Lovro Sturm are to make a statement for the press at 10:45 AM, following their talks. (STA/PHOTO)

LJUBLJANA - The Economy Ministry is to discuss foreign direct investment at a press conference scheduled for 11 AM.

LONDON, UK - A ministerial on the Bologna Process, attended by Slovenian Higher Education, Science and Technology Minister Jure Zupan is to come to a close.

VELENJE - Representatives of the Public Administration Ministry are to present e-services launched as part of the e-government project at 11 AM.

LJUBLJANA - Secondary-school graduates are to attempt to break a record in mass quadrille dancing in the streets of 25 cities in Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Macedonia; at noon. (STA)

CERKNO - The Partisan Hospital Franja will be the site for a ceremony as the hospital is conferred the European Heritage Label.
