The opposition has shown far more activity in the last few days than the governing parties. Messrs. Buser, Gros and others are the candidates for the office of President, although electoral legislation has not yet been adopted. This may happen before the parliamentary recess but the question is whether the elections suit the parties in power, which during their term of office have not succeeded in persuading the public that they are better than Peterle's government, writes Mirko Lorenci in the morning edition of Večer.
