Celje, 18 May - The council of the ruling Slovenian Democrats (SDS), the party's main decision-making body, on Friday gave unanimous backing to the presidential bid of Alojz Peterle, effectively making the former prime minister the joint candidate of the centre-right in the autumn elections.
