Railways Still in the Red

Ljubljana, 22 May - Slovenske zeleznice, the national railway operator, posted a loss of EUR 1.3m for the first quarter of 2007, as profits in cargo transport failed to offset losses in the passenger and infrastructure divisions. The company has the potential to become successful, general manager Peter Puhan told the press on Tuesday.
