Ruling Party Unhappy with President's New Bank Name

Ljubljana, 24 May - The senior coalition Slovenian Democrats (SDS) on Thursday expressed amazement that President Janez Drnovsek was again set to bypass consultations with the parliamentary parties in nominating his latest candidate for central bank boss. The party also said that the political ties of the latest potential candidate, Dusan Mramor, could not be denied.
