Fmr President Answers PM's Criticism

Črni Kal, 27 May - Former President Milan Kucan has responded angrily to statements by Prime Minister Janez Jansa suggesting Kucan's communist past makes him unfit to speak about the latest events surrounding SOVA, Slovenia's intelligence and security agency. "I will not have my right to speak freely taken away," Kucan said at an event on Saturday.

Former President Milan Kucan (right) says he intends to keep speaking up about attempts to "retun Slovenia to the times of old".
