Dnevnik Unhappy that Roads Given Priority Over Railways

Ljubljana, 28 May - The daily Dnevnik lambasts Slovenia's transport policy for neglecting the railway network and allowing roads to take precedence over other modes of transport in Monday's commentary. While Croatia is planning a billion euro rail line connecting the port city of Rijeka to its capital Zagreb, Slovenia has for a decade lacked the will to upgrade the line from the port of Koper to the transport hub of Divaca, Dnevnik writes.
