Dearer Petrol Pushes Annual Inflation to 2.9%

Ljubljana, 31 May - A spike in petrol prices pushed Slovenia's annual inflation 0.3 percentage points higher to 2.9% in May, the highest rate since August last year. Prices rose by 1.2% on average in May, the third consecutive month of strong price growth, the Statistics Office said on Thursday.
