New diplomatic initiative for protection of Slovenian minority

Ljubljana, 14 July - The Slovenian Parliamentary Committee for International Relations at today's session passed a number of resolutions and adopted certain stances on the actual position of the Slovenian minority in Italy, which will be forwarded immediately to the Provincial Council of Friuli Giulia. The new diplomatic initiative given by the Slovenian parliament will again involve a demand for the protection of the rights of the Slovenian community in Italy, especially with regard to the new electoral law.
