Douglas Hurd: Keep up Strong Pressure on Serbia and Montenegro

Ljubljana, 16 July - HURD/SLOVENIA/JOURNALISTS
The visit of British Foreign Minister Douglas Hurd to Ljubljana was directed towards acquainting London foreign policy with conditions in Bosnia and Hercegovina, towards bilateral cooperation between Great Britain and Slovenia, and towards the question of connecting the latter with the European Community. According to Hurd, in the process of finding a solution to the war in Bosnia and Hercegovina it is fundamentally important to assure "humanitarian aid and a strong economic and political isolation of Serbia and Montenegro."
